FARIDA is Manhattan's first and only authentic Central Asian halal restaurant. Since opening in 2018, we have evolved with changing times and the preferences of our loyal customers. We take pride in showcasing the rich culinary heritage of post-Soviet countries. Named after the historic silk trade route that connected diverse cultures, our menu offers a blend of cuisines from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and beyond, allowing you to savor various flavors in one place.

As a family-owned restaurant, we embrace a wide range of culinary and cultural influences. Our made-from-scratch offerings include hand-pulled noodles, handmade dumplings, UMKA pies, tender shashlyk, delicious vegetarian dishes, authentic Uzbek tea, and decadent homemade desserts. We use only the highest quality halal meat and locally farmed organic produce. Hospitality is central to our philosophy, and we strive to create a serene atmosphere with excellent service for a unique and enjoyable dining experience.
